Reinier studied at SEAD Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance in Austria, graduating in 2018. He started his dance education at the National University (UNA) in Costa Rica. Since 2014 he is based in Salzburg and while in his studies, he took part in pieces directed by Milla Koinstinen, Eduardo Torroja, Edivaldo Ernesto, Konstandina Efthymiadou, Anastasia Valsamaki and Paul Blackman and worked independently with Salzburg Festspiele and Mozarteum Salzburg.

 

Currently he develops his own work while regularly teaching advanced and professional dancers. Reinier is an associate artist of RedSapata in Linz and his creative work receives support from both Land and Stadt Salzburg and Land Oberösterreich.

 

In 2020 he creates the dance company La Intempestiva, which he directs alongside the Slovak dancer Simona Štangová. He has taught and performed in Austria, Germany, Czechia, Kenia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panamá, Guatemala and both European and Siberian Russia.
