Júlia Farkas
Júlia studied at Anton Bruckner Universität in Linz, Austria, graduating in 2023. At age 16, she starts her contemporary dance education with different professional workshops, including Dance Week Budapest. Since 2019 she is based in Linz, where she has studied and work with teachers like Victor Rottier, Joy Alpuerto Ritter, Andressa Miyazato, Editta Braun, Gabriel Castillo and Laja Martin.
Júlia is co-choreographer and performer of the piece „identity:anonymous“, which has been performed at several festivals and venues. Alongside her studies, she has worked as freelancer with Gangaray Dance Company and choreographer Jianan Qu.
She is also member of the dance platform La Intempestiva, where she has worked in the pieces „Endless Cycles“ and „Encontrarse“. She has performed in Austria, Hungary, Czechia and Germany.
